OVERVIEW

The Company is committed to economic development in Namibia and invites applications for the Graduate in Training (GIT) Programme for young Namibians. Our GIT Programme is designed to develop recent graduates into tomorrow's talent. The Company seeks graduates that are team orientated, self-motivated and innovative. 

The position is in Windhoek, Namibia, at Namib Laboratories (some GIT’s may travel from time to time). 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

The successful candidates will gain the opportunity to be trained and developed within the laboratory environment. It will also give this individual the skills to start their career in their area of interest. The Programme runs for a fixed period, after which you may be considered for a permanent placement. This is subject to the individual's performance and the placement Company's continued operational requirements.

TERTIARY QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

  • Academic Qualification required
  • BSc. degree / Honours degree in Microbiology

ELIGIBILITY FOR A GIT PROGRAMME PLACEMENT:

  • Namibian Citizen.
  • A valid Namibian Driver's license.
  • An excellent academic history supported by a report from the school with at least an average C symbol.
  • Recognised tertiary degree in one of the fields mentioned above.
  • Applicant must have graduated within the last two (2) years or be a recent graduate.

  • Comprehensive CV.
  • Full academic record (Includes Grade Twelve (12) as well as Tertiary Qualification results);
  • Certified Copy of ID / Birth Certificate.
  • Certified Copy of a valid Namibian Driver's license.
